  • An option to define Pre-requisite information and notes text for each test. Pre-requisite information can be used by the Technicians to check some conditions (for example: Fasting stomach) with the patient, before taking samples for the tests. Notes information can be used by the doctors.

  • A feature to define a test with more than one technique.

  • An option to define different test parameters and report layouts for different techniques for the same test.

  • An option to copy parameters from one test to another test. Very useful when you find two or more tests having similar test parameters.

  • An option to group similar tests into departments.

  • An option to group tests which are normally done together into "Group Tests". This allows quick creation of requisitions where you select a group test and the requisition is prepared automatically for all the tests that are part of that group.

  • An option to define test rates that are applicable only from a selected "Applicable From" date. This allows you to plan your test rates in advance by setting their "Applicable From" date in future.
Test Reports Next | Prev | Top
  • You can design your own test reports using Report Designer.

  • Report Designer helps you by creating a default report layout based on the test parameters.

  • Report Designer allows you to fully customize the test report layout, by adding new text, removing text, removing/adding predefined labels, resizing controls, moving the controls, aligning controls, etc.

  • To help you for an easy test results entry, the controls in the results entry screen vary based on the context. For example, when a parameter is of observation type (where the possible values are predefined), the control becomes a drop-down combo box. This helps you quickly select a value from the list instead of typing them and all the controls, including combo-box appear with a default (normal) value. This would also mean you save lot of time in manual typing where (on an average) test results are normal.

  • Using Test Report Page Styles, you can predefine a set of page styles, which can later be applied to test reports. This allows you to define one page style and apply it to all tests that need similar page settings.

  • Test reports can be sent as Fax or Email.
